KYLE SIMMONS

Kyle Simmons is a passionate leader who has left behind a successful career in healthcare and management consulting to pursue a lifelong dream to own and operate a company that creates a positive impact on the world. He is strategic, thoughtful, innovative and likes to see what the world can be rather than what it is today.

He is looking to buy a company(or multiple) and infuse capital and commit all of his professional time and energy to grow it's impact and create value for customers, employees, and the community. Ideal companies are in the range of $1-10M EBITDA with a clear and demonstrated value proposition to their customers, a strong reputation in the community, and in an industry that is primed for growth or disruption.

He is surrounded by a team of investors and advisors that share his vision for what the world can be and are aligned with his values in work and in life. They are CEOs of successful companies, industry thought leaders, acquirers of small businesses, and combined have made hundreds of investments across healthcare, technology, and a variety of other industries.

Kyle lives in Durham, NC with his wife, two children and an incredible community of friends and family.

JOSE STELLA + GUILLERMO LAVERGNE

Jose Stella is a Board Member and Co-Founder of QMC Telecom. Previously he was President and Co-Founder of VIU Media, until the sale of the company in 2006 to Lamar Advertising. Both companies were a result of search efforts with partner Rafael Somoza that identified attractive industries where these companies were built from the ground up.

Jose later co-founded Ashford Venture Partners and spends half of his time investing in and advising talented entrepreneurs in search funds, with a primary focus on healthcare and technology. Alongside partner Guillermo Lavergne and Rafael Somoza they have made numerous investments into small and medium size businesses, providing both a breadth and a depth of knowledge of different sectors and operating models.

KENT WEAVER

Kent collaborates with talented entrepreneurs to build up great businesses from the inside. As Founder & CEO of Granite Point Partners, he has invested in over 100 private companies and advised as a Board Director in over 20. He is passionate about leadership and human capital development, cultivating culture, marrying strategy and execution, navigating uncertainty with a bias for action, and helping CEOs outperform. He is the Chairman and Former CEO of Progressive Home Care.

ADAM DUGGINS

Adam is the founder of New Page Capital, a company that acquires, operates and grows privately held companies in the Triad. Since their founding in 2015, they have completed 4 successful acquisitions. Prior to launching New Page, Adam was VP of Operations for a healthcare company and was a Manager at Bain & Co. During his five years at Bain, Adam advised private equity clients on potential acquisitions and market opportunities.

HASNAIN ZAIDI

Hasnain has built his career sitting at the intersection of “bits and atoms” - combining the power of physical infrastructure with digital experiences at companies of all sizes. He currently leads the growth and customer lifecycle teams globally at Faire Wholesale, a rapidly growing digital platform that supports SMB retailers. Prior to Faire, Hasnain was at Apple where he led the worldwide reseller channel, and previously founded and operated a regional chain of Fast Casual restaurants. Hasnain lives in Durham, NC with his wife and two children.

KEITH LAABS

Keith is the CEO of CCABA, where he is dedicated to improving the lives of children with autism, their faimilies, and their surrounding communities. He acquired this company in 2019 and alongside his partner has expanded it's footprint from 4 to 15 centers while delivering strong clinical outcomes. Prior to CCABA, Keith was the Chief of Staff and Interim CFO at Rubicon Global and was an Engagement Manager at McKinsey & Company. Keith lives in Durham, NC with his wife and two children.

MARK LAABS

Mark Laabs is an entrepreneur with a strong conviction that outsized social impact and outsized financial returns can go hand in hand. He has participated as a founder, advisor, and/or builder of a wide range of organizations which seek to address critical social and environmental problems on five continents. He is the Managing Partner of Modern Energy, Founder and Chairman of the Rare Cancer Research Foundation, and Chairman of Faro Energy. Mark lives in Durham, NC.

DALE STAFFORD

Dale is the former leader of Bain's Americas M&A practice and a senior member of the Healthcare practice. He has more than 20 years of management consulting experience, advising leading companies on their biggest challenges and opportunities. Dale has led successful merger integrations in a variety of industries. In addition, he has extensive experience developing growth strategies to help insurers and healthcare technology companies outperform. He started his career as a designer/developer of software for healthcare companies.

My investors and advisors are individuals who are passionate about the intersection of social impact and value creation. They also come with a wealth of experience in acquiring businesses, preserving legacies and successfully operating as CEOs to create long-term impact and growth.

JAY DAVIS

Jay purchased and operated as the CEO of Vector Disease Acquisition. Under his leadership, the company made 14 acquisitions and grew at a CAGR of 43%. Vector Disease Acquisition was acquired by Rentokil Initial (FTSE: RTO) in November of 2017.

Jay is now a co-founder of The Nashton Company. The Nashton Company is a holding company investing in recurring revenue services businesses. Nashton builds leading companies in niche markets over a very long period of time.

MARIO SICILIA

Mario led one of Latin America's most successful search-fund stories; 5x exit, ~60% investor IRR. Today, he is a Managing Partner at Cerralvo Capital, an investment firm seeking to find companies to acquire that produce impact and returns similar to what he was able to deliver personally. He has also served as CEO of a medical business in Mexico and has a wealth of experience across multiple industries.
